Who We Are

Muskies Canada Kawartha Lakes Chapter
We are the luckiest chapter of Muskies Canada. Lucky because we are the 13th Chapter to be operating in 2008. Situated in the heart of the Kawartha's, what better name to obtain than Kawartha Lakes.

Our main objective for starting in this area is for the concern of Northern Pike making their way into the Kawartha Lakes region. This is a large concern for all Muskie anglers that enjoy the quantity and quality Muskie fishery we have at the present time. Installation of Know the Difference (KTD) signs on concerned lakes will also be one of our projects to help educate anglers in the area lakes. We want to be the most informative Chapter of the "What's going on in the Kawartha's" so look at our web page often. Starting January 2009, there will be regular updates to our page. If you are interested in meeting new people, having a great time, participating in various meetings and outings, and above all, learning about these fantastic fish, then please contact any one of people below. We would enjoy having you as our guest at any one of our meetings.

Upcoming Kawartha Lakes Chapter Meetings

  • February 14, 2012Paul Gasbarino guest speaker Paul will give a power point presentation about the Pike Invasion Project. He will focus on what our MCI volunteers and the OMNR staff and students acomplished in 2011 on Balsam Lake.

  • March 13, 2012Johnny Dadson (Georgian Bay) Johnny will give a seminar on fishing Georgian Bay.

  • April 10, 2012Angling 2020 Tackle Mr. Steve Olver and associate will attend the meeting. They will present some of their line of Muskie Tackle for us to inspect and also purchase. (MUSKY INNOVATIONS)
