Chat forums are out of scope as they are moderated appropriately. Sole discretion lies with MCI's web administrator and on rare exceptions, if he/she requires a second opinion, he/she shall consult with the President before making the final decision.
The following principles are the guidelines to be followed:
- Submissions can only come from members in good standing
- Content must not contain any abusive language, offensive clothing or pictures
- MCI has an appropriate section where vendors may advertise their services or products. Content in the public galleries should not be construed as advertising - in determining this, the web administrator will assess whether "someone stands to potentially profit from the content"
- Not withstanding above, the web administrator may disallow content if in his/her mind, the material could in any way reflect poorly on MCI or contradicts our mission, mandate and principles. This includes poor fish handling, fishing or safety practices
