Josh Blasman 50 - On Saturday Nov. 20th 2010, at just about sunset and a day before the full moon, he (Josh) was bouncing his lure off the rocky bottom, trolling upriver on the stretch out in front of the Cedar Village when it hit. His New 13" Silver Grandma (Cisco), that he had picked up at Bass Pro on his journey up, was devoured by this bad girl and gave him one hell of a fight. Josh was alone in the boat at the time and managed to net her, measure her, take a photo, kiss her goodbye, all while having his heart almost pounding out of his chest.
He had been texting me all day and didn't have enough battery juice left to inform me of his good fortune, but certainly was one Happy Muskie Hunter when I met him at the launch just minutes after the release as darkness was setting in.
